Testing what AI actually does in PR.
Every PR tool now claims to use AI. We write about what it is actually good for, test what the tools do in practice, and score them the same way every time.

What we publish
Three kinds of thing.
-
Tool reviews
Hands-on testing of what a tool's AI features produce, scored against three checks and published with the working shown.
-
Guides
How to actually use AI in public relations. Which parts of the job it takes on, what to automate first, and what is better left to a person.
-
Analysis
What we find while testing, written up. How the tools work, where they fail, and what is changing in AI as PR teams actually use it.
How we score
Three checks, applied the same way.
Every tool is put through the same three checks, and the working is published alongside the number.
-
Reliability
How accurate the output is, how strong the data behind it is, and how much control you have over it.
-
Integrability
How easy the tool is to learn and use, and how easily it fits an existing workflow.
-
AI depth
How strong the AI behind the tool is, how much of the product it powers, and how well it is used.
Common questions
Who writes this?
Veronica Fletcher and Sacha Fournier. Both are named on everything they write, with the date it was published. There is no anonymous editorial team.
Can a vendor pay to be listed, or to raise a score?
No. There are no paid listings, no sponsored placements, no affiliate links and no paid reviews. Vendors can submit a tool for consideration, and that is the whole of the relationship.
How often are scores updated?
Every review carries the date it was scored. Tools in this category ship quickly, so a review is revisited when the product changes materially, and at least once a year.
How do I get a tool listed?
Send it through the submission form. Submissions are not guaranteed a review, and a submission does not affect the score.
Have a question?
Ask about a score, a tool we have not covered yet, or anything else on the site.
